THE NIGHT BEFORE

FRIDAY, AUGUST 21, 2026

THE FINER DETAILSJoin us for a welcome cruise on Lake Como followed by a sunset celebration at the beach club. We will be kicking off the festivities with pizza, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and dancing under the stars! LOCATION<a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/7rnwHhEt2rjt88vL9" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Lido di Bellagio</a> TIMINGGuests are requested to arrive at 5:45 in the evening as the boat will be leaving promptly at 6 o'clock. The party will conclude at 10 PM. DRESS CODEAll-White Summer SoireeWe kindly ask you to dress in the color palette of airy whites, creams and light beiges.Dressy casual attire - button-down shirts or polos, linen pants or tailored shorts, and summer dresses or skirts.

WEDDING DAY

THE FINER DETAILSThe ceremony will be outdoors on the lakeside terrace, followed by an aperitivo in the adjacent gardens with our favorite Italian delicacies &amp; refreshing cocktails.The evening will continue with a seated dinner, dancing, and dessert in the villa's grand ballroom. The evening will conclude at midnight. DRESS CODE Black Tie AffairDress to impress! Tuxedos, black suits, and floor-length evening gowns (all colors welcome!) Note: for heel-wearers, we recommend a block heel or wedge for your comfort as the ceremony &amp; aperitivo will be held on a natural pebbled terrace.

Flying

We recommend flying into one of the Milan airports. Please choose whichever suits your travels best.

Milan-Malpensa (MXP)

Milan's primary international gateway - our recommendation if you are travelling from the US. You are able to fly directly from New York (JFK). •

Milan Linate (LIN)

Smaller airport located closer to the city of Milan. No direct flights from the US, but may be preferred if you plan to extend your travels through Europe!

Transportation to Bellagio

The easiest and fastest way to get to Bellagio from either airport is by car.

Car Service (~1.5 hours)

Your hotel can help coordinate this for you. Lake Como Transfers is also a great service.Note: The typical cost is ~€250 and the duration can vary based on traffic and road closures. •

Rent a Car (~1.5 hours)

We don't recommend this unless you are a very comfortable driver, as the roads around the lake are narrow and difficult to navigate and parking can be challenging.Note: Italian car rentals often default to manual transmission, so request automatic if needed. •

TRAIN + FERRY (~2.5 hours)

Step 1: Go to Milano Centrale Station.From Milan-Malpensa Airport: take the Malpensa-Express train.From&nbsp;Milan-Linate Airport: take the Autostradale bus. (~1 hour)Step 2: Take the train from Milano Centrale to Varenna, with a transfer in Lecco. (~1 hour 5 mins)Step 3: Take the ferry from Varenna to Bellagio. (~15 mins) •

TRAIN + BUS (~2.5 hours)

Step 1: Go to Milano Centrale Station.From Milan-Malpensa Airport: take the Malpensa-Express train.From&nbsp;Milan-Linate Airport: take the Autostradale bus. We HIGHLY recommend staying in the town of Bellagio in one of the accommodations listed below. All are centrally located within walking distance of both our wedding venue and welcome party. We also recommend you make reservations as soon as possible if you are planning to celebrate with us! As the wedding will be during high season in Lake Como, hotels do sell out. Note: all below hotels include breakfast in the booking!

Via Valassina, 31, 22021 Bellagio, CO, ItalyA truly special dining experience slightly removed from the town's center in the beautiful Hotel Belvedere! Everything is delicious and unique and they make an excellent dirty martini. •

Take a day trip to the charming town of Varenna - a short, and beautiful 15 minute ferry from Bellagio. Visit Villa Monastero, stop in the local shops and grab a bite &amp; drink along the lake! •

Visit Menaggio

Take a 15 minute ferry to the charming town of Menaggio. This town has some of the most beautiful views of the lake, amazing gelato from La Fabbrica del Gelato and adorable shops full of locally made goodies.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, and we’ll do our best to keep everyone comfortable as we celebrate this special day. Dinner and dancing will follow indoors. What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Walking is the easiest way to get around Bellagio. We highly recommend staying at one of the hotels listed on our <a href="https://www.sophieandjacob.com/travel" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Accommodations</a> page, all just minutes from the weekend’s events.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We’re keeping things intimate and cannot wait to celebrate with those who know us best! Unless your invitation says otherwise, we won’t be able to accommodate additional guests.

Can I bring my children?

This celebration is best suited for adults. Unless otherwise noted on your invitation (particularly for our immediate family), we kindly ask that young children sit this one out. Thank you so much for understanding!

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

For the welcome party, we kindly ask guests to adhere to airy whites, creams and pale beiges in dressy casual attire, meaning button-down shirts, polos, linen pants, tailored shorts, summer dresses and skirts! For our wedding day, the dress code is black tie, meaning black suits, tuxedos, formal floor-length dresses and evening gowns. Any color dress is welcomed and encouraged! Note: we recommend a block heel or wedge for your comfort as the the ceremony &amp; aperitivo will be held on pebbles.
